[Ultrasonographic features of small bowel tumors]

The Ultra sonographic findings of 24 cases of small bowel tumors confirmed by surgery and pathology were described. According to their growth pattern, there were three types of small bowl tumors on ultra sonography: intraluminal mass, thick-walled, and extraluminal. After the patients drank 500 ml of water, the tumor was easily detected and pinpointed by ultrasonic observation of the filling and passage of the fluid in the diseased small bowl.
