Summary
Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV) infection is rare in Nepal. No HDV antibodies were found in Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive individuals, but one HBsAg-negative patient with liver disease showed evidence of past HDV infection.
