Comparison of resistance features for complex amalgam restorations

This study found that pins, amalgapins, and combinations of amalgapins with a peripheral shelf provide similar resistance to Dispersalloy amalgam restorations. These methods are superior to a peripheral shelf alone or pins combined with a peripheral shelf.
