[Experimental comparative study on investment materials for casting high-melting dental alloys]

The physical properties of 12 investment materials produced in middle- and east european countries were tested with methods as usual in experimental practice. At that the following properties were evaluated: grain-size distribution by screen-analysis, setting behavior by penetration, setting and thermal expansion, primary and secondary hardness and porosity by water-absorption. On the basis of the results the tested materials are valuated.
