Summary

Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) drives angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and cirrhotic liver disease. Computer analysis quantifies differing vascularization in HCC and cirrhosis, correlating VEGF levels with vessel density.
