Auditory cortical evoked potentials in tinnitus patients with normal audiological presentation

Tinnitus patients with normal hearing do not show increased intensity dependence in auditory evoked potentials. This suggests a different characteristic compared to tinnitus patients with hearing loss, challenging assumptions about peripheral damage.
