  • Artificial ligaments (LARS) were employed for collateral ligament reconstruction.
  • Early mobilization with continuous passive motion was initiated postoperatively.
  • Main Results:

    • At a mean follow-up of 43 months, high Lysholm (91) and Knee Outcome Survey (86) scores were reported.
    • 90% of patients achieved good or satisfactory subjective results and functional stability.
    • International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) ratings indicated 45% nearly normal and 45% abnormal knee function.

    Conclusions:

    • Arthroscopic-assisted reconstruction of cruciate and collateral ligaments provides good to satisfactory functional outcomes for traumatic knee dislocation.
    • The described surgical protocol leads to significant functional recovery and stability.
    • While no knee returned to a normal IKDC rating, the majority showed nearly normal or abnormal function, indicating successful management.
