A new questionnaire, the Post-traumatic stress disorder-Alcohol Expectancy Questionnaire (P-AEQ), measures beliefs about alcohol effects related to PTSD symptoms. It shows reliability and validity, distinguishing alcohol use disorder (AUD) from non-AUD in male veterans.
