[Mc Bride's operation with and without additional basic osteotomy of the 1st metatarsal]

Follow-up of Mc Bride procedure in treatment of Hallux valgus or Mc Bride procedure combined with a proximal osteotomy of the first metatarsal was done in 151 patients by means of a retrospective study. According to the above mentioned methods the patients were divided into two groups. The second group showed better clinical and radiological results, whereas in the patients' estimation the two groups showed equally good results.
