[A method of calculating social standards of expected losses due to temporary disability]

Taking into account age and sex of workers and employees, methods of developing regional social norms of losses due to temporary disability are substantiated. The difference between the actual and expected rates of morbidity according to some nosologies is used as a criterion of the surplus level of pathology stipulated by industrial environment. Costs for the treatment of patients in connection with the surplus level of pathology are suggested for estimating the amount of additional allocations for health institutions at the expense of industrial enterprises.
