Androgens and bladder outlet obstruction: a correlation with pressure-flow variables in a preliminary study

Lower testosterone levels in men with bladder outlet obstruction are linked to worse urinary flow pressures and increased detrusor overactivity. Androgens appear to improve lower urinary tract function in these patients.
