[Laparoscopic diagnosis of the abdominal cavity abscesses]

The laparoscopic picture of abdominal abscesses in 28 patients is analysed. The presence of a distended paretic loop of the small intestine next to the abscess is an indirect laparoscopic sign of an abscess of the abdominal cavity.
