Summary

Laser angioplasty perforation is a common complication. However, continuing the procedure with percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) can successfully manage extravasation and achieve good outcomes.

  • PTA can serve as a rescue therapy for managing perforations during laser angioplasty.
  • This approach could potentially improve success rates for complex vascular interventions.
