[Forecasting of severity of functional disorders in patients of advanced age with a cardiovascular pathology]
Insights
Elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases often show accelerated aging. Understanding circulatory system function in these patients helps predict heart failure risk and activity limitations.
Area of Science:
- Cardiology
- Gerontology
- Physiology
Context:
- The cardiovascular system is vital for organismal homeostasis and metabolic support.
- Elderly individuals with cardiovascular diseases frequently exhibit accelerated biological aging.
- Cardiologic pathology complexes correlate with higher biological age and circulatory insufficiency.
Purpose:
- To analyze correlations between functional parameters and the overall functioning of the circulatory system.
- To understand the mechanisms of compensation, resilience, and intensity in circulatory system function.
- To establish reference points for predicting the risk of heart failure progression in aging patients.
Summary:
- Accelerated aging is common in elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Analysis of circulatory system parameters reveals insights into compensatory mechanisms.
- Homeostatic fluctuation limits in aging cardiovascular patients aid in forecasting heart failure risk.
Impact:
- Provides a reference for forecasting the risk of functional heart failure progression.
- Helps in understanding limitations to vital activity in aging populations with heart conditions.
- Informs clinical strategies for managing cardiovascular health in the elderly.
Abstract:
The cardiovascular system of a person functions in close interrelation with all structures of an organism, providing their metabolic requirements, homeostatic mechanisms. In majority of elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases the accelerated ageing can be observed. The highest biological age, a functional class of a circulatory insufficiency is registered in patients with a cardiologic pathology complex. The analysis of correlation interrelations of functional parameters with an estimation of total, force and an orientation of connections enablesto understand mechanisms of indemnification, fastness and intensity of functioning of a system of circulation. The established limits of homeostatic fluctuations of parameters of a circulatory system of growing old patients integrated to it with cardiovascular diseases serve as a reference point for forecasting risk of advance of their functional heart failure, restrictions of vital activity.
