Trace element levels in hashimoto thyroiditis patients with subclinical hypothyroidism

Subclinical hypothyroidism patients show lower selenium and iron, and higher magnesium levels. Selenium deficiency may increase cardiovascular disease risk, as hormone therapy did not alter these trace element levels.
