Gemella morbillorum in primary and secondary/persistent endodontic infections

Gemella morbillorum bacteria were found more often in primary endodontic infections than persistent ones. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) detected this bacteria more effectively than traditional culture methods in root canals.
