    Background:

    • This study investigated neoplasia in other organs among patients diagnosed with insuloma in Sweden between 1959 and 1968.

    • Pancreatic islet tissue demonstrated a potential to react with hyperplasia, leading to adenoma formation secondary to tumors in other organs.
