Summary

Human B cells utilize specific fibronectin receptors (FNR) for adhesion. Activated B cells, like T cells, express alpha 5 beta 1 integrin for fibronectin binding.

Background:

  • Lymphocyte adhesion to fibronectin (FN) is mediated by very late antigen (VLA) family receptors.
