[Acute ACL ruptures, polypropylene band augmentation in a new technique (chisel technique) and results]

Based on 4 years implantation experience with 155 implanted polypropylene-augmentation devices (Kennedy-Lad) this retrospective study with an average reexamination interval of 2 years reports about the results of our reconstructions of acute injuries of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), in a new "chisel-technique". Description of this surgical technic.
