Abstract:
The import of malaria into the Federal Republic of Germany is reported. Almost 2000 passengers traveling to and from Kenya were questioned regarding their compliance with malaria prophylaxis. Incorrect dosage and duration of taking an antimalarial drug increases the potential risk of malaria infection.
