Summary

A patient with a history of Bentall procedure successfully underwent surgical repair for complex aortic aneurysms involving the brachiocephalic trunk and right subclavian artery. The procedure involved aneurysm resection and bypass grafting, with an uneventful recovery and asymptomatic follow-up.

  • Presented with aneurysms of the right subclavian artery and brachiocephalic trunk.
  • Also had a false anastomotic aneurysm at the left coronary artery insertion.

Observation:

  • The complex aneurysms were repaired using moderate hypothermic circulatory arrest.
  • Surgical intervention included resection of the brachiocephalic trunk and subclavian artery aneurysms.
  • Aorto-carotid and axillary bypass were performed.

Findings:

  • The surgical repair was technically successful.
  • The patient experienced an uneventful postoperative course.
  • Discharged on postoperative day 7 and remained asymptomatic at 6-month follow-up.
