Purpose of the Study:

To investigate contraceptive behavior across three distinct ethnic/socioeconomic populations.
To identify primary sources of contraceptive information within these groups.

Main Methods:

A questionnaire-based study involving 150 Muslim women in Germany, 120 Muslim women in Greece, and 140 Christian Orthodox women in Greece.
Statistical analyses included ANOVA, Turkey's test, chi-square, and logistic regression to compare demographic, socioeconomic, and contraceptive method usage.

Main Results:

The most common contraceptive methods were the pill (41.7%), condom (35.1%), and periodic abstinence (24.4%).
Gynecologists were the primary information source (23.4%), followed by family consultants (12.0%) and partners (10.2%).
Significant differences in contraceptive pill, condom, and IUD usage were observed across the groups (p < 0.05).

Conclusions:

Behavioral differences in contraceptive practices exist among ethnic/minority groups.
These variations are likely influenced by distinct cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
