Abstract:
Reaction of the 1,5-diamidonaphthalene bridged bis(benzene-o-dithiol) ligand H4- with Ti4+ leads to the unexpected formation of a dinuclear meso-complex anion [Ti2(B)3](4-), while the catechol analog H(4-) has been reported to yield the tetrahedral [M4(A)6](8-) cluster.
