Summary

Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) can help differentiate benign from malignant abdominal lymph nodes. Benign nodes tend to show higher ADC values than malignant ones.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values in benign and metastatic abdominal lymph nodes using diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).
  • To determine if ADC values can differentiate between benign and malignant abdominal lymph nodes.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective analysis of 28 patients with 40 benign and 16 malignant abdominal lymph nodes.
  • Abdominal DWI MRI performed with a b-value of 0.600.
