Soluble interleukin-2 receptors in ulcerative colitis

Serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R) levels are elevated in ulcerative colitis (UC) patients, indicating increased T-cell activation. However, sIL-2R may have limited diagnostic value due to overlapping concentrations across disease states.
