Prediabetes is associated with abnormal circadian blood pressure variability

Prediabetes is linked to abnormal blood pressure (BP) patterns, specifically abnormal circadian variability (ACV). A 7-day ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM) study found prediabetics had significantly higher ACV, suggesting a link to cardiovascular disease risk.
