Permanent neurologic deficits in heat stroke.

Summary
Heat stroke rarely causes permanent brain damage, but this study highlights two cases of persistent neurologic deficits, including cerebellar dysfunction, years after heat stroke. Heat stroke may be a rare cause of transverse myelopathy.
