Summary

Reoperative surgery for right ventricular outflow tract issues after Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) can be complex. A new valved conduit implanted into a beating heart may reduce complications and improve outcomes in congenital heart surgery.

  • A novel Shelhigh Pulmonic Valved Injectable No-React-Treated Conduit (NR 4000-PA MIS) has been developed.
  • This conduit is designed for implantation into a beating heart, avoiding the need for CPB during reoperation.

Findings:

  • The implantation of the NR 4000-PA MIS conduit into a beating heart offers significant advantages for patients and surgeons.
  • Early clinical results from the initial application of this novel conduit are presented.
