Abstract:
There is growing concern that the Fistula First Initiative, KDOQI guidelines, and subsequent pressure from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services lack reasonableness regarding likely success for fistula maturation in a heterogeneous, new-onset dialysis population.
