Changes in red cell shape in healthy elderly subjects taking low dose fish oil: pilot study

Low dose fish oil supplementation in elderly individuals altered red blood cell shape, with effects peaking at eight weeks. Blood pressure remained largely unchanged, though some antihypertensive drug users showed a slight decrease.
