Acute myocardial infarction found by multi-detector computed tomography ordered for suspected aortic dissection

Urgent chest computed tomographic scans can mimic acute myocardial infarction. Two cases showed decreased myocardial enhancement on CT scans, later confirmed as myocardial infarction by coronary angiography.
