  • A series of three robot-assisted retropubic simple prostatectomies were performed.
  • Patients presented with symptomatic lower urinary tract symptoms and large prostate volumes.
  • No acute intraoperative or perioperative complications were observed.

Findings:

  • The average patient age was 76.7 years, with a mean prostate-specific antigen (PSA) of 25.1.
  • Average estimated blood loss was 558 ml, and mean operative time was 211 minutes.
