Summary

This study investigated gastric emptying during pregnancy using paracetamol absorption. Results showed no significant delay in gastric emptying across trimesters, despite some absorption differences in early pregnancy.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the rate of gastric emptying in pregnant women across different trimesters.

  • Indirect measurement of gastric emptying via paracetamol absorption.
