  • Demonstrated the expression of tetrahedral subgroup symmetry within the cubic crystal lattice.

  • Two distinct crystalline forms of Cowpea mosaic virus (CMV) were successfully obtained.
  • The crystallographic data provide insights into the packing and symmetry of CMV particles in solid states.
  • This work contributes to the structural understanding of plant viruses and their crystallization behavior.
