Abstract:
Primitive neuroectodermal tumours (PNET) in the cerebral hemispheres predominantly occur in early life. The mean survival from the time of diagnosis is approximately 8 months. Only 18 cases in patients older than 15 years have been described. There have been no cases of PNET in a patient older than 65 years. We describe a case of PNET in a 69-year-old man without recurrence 30 months postoperatively following radiotherapy and carboplatin chemotherapy.
