Cerebellar haemangioblastoma and invasive macroprolactinoma: case report

Abstract:
The case of a 42-year-old man harbouring both a symptomatic cerebellar haemangioblastoma and a huge, prolactin secreting invasive macroadenoma of the pituitary is presented. The possible pathogenesis is discussed and the literature reviewed with special emphasis on molecular genetic aspects.
