Acute infectious peritonitis caused by Vibrio fluvialis

Vibrio fluvialis, a bacterium causing gastroenteritis, was identified as the cause of peritonitis in a trauma patient. This is the first reported case of non-continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis-related acute peritonitis linked to this pathogen.
