  • A comprehensive search of multiple databases (Cochrane, MEDLINE, EMBASE) and expert consultation was conducted.
  • Included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and non-randomized controlled studies (NRS) assessing server-setting interventions aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm.
  • Methodological quality was assessed; a pooled analysis was not feasible due to intervention heterogeneity.

Main Results:

  • Twenty studies met inclusion criteria, predominantly of poor methodological quality.
  • One non-randomized controlled study (NRS) on server training estimated a 23% reduction in night-time crashes.
