To investigate physician perceptions of nursing documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
To understand how nursing documentation impacts interdisciplinary collaboration.

A quality improvement project was conducted at a tertiary care pediatric hospital.
A survey instrument assessed the perceptions of 37 physicians regarding nursing documentation post-EMR implementation.
