[Vertebral interposed bone tissue. Case report]

We present a male subject with interposed bone tissue between L5-S1 levels. We performed a bibliographic search and we did not find a case like this one. The objective of this work is to report this finding, so it could be considered as a cause of low back pain and hypogastrium pain.

Male, irrelevant clinical history presenting with pain in hypogastrium during physical exertion. We found a bone between L5-S1 on simple X-rays. He was treated with NSAID's and improved on symptoms.

We performed a search of similar cases, and did not find data as in our case. This case report will permit to associate to similar problems, and to define if it is a clinical entity with its own characteristics.
