Valve preservation in acute type A aortic dissection: 13-year experience

Aortic valve preservation during acute type A aortic dissection repair is effective. This technique shows high rates of freedom from significant aortic insufficiency, offering a viable option for select patients.

- Reconstruction of the sinotubular junction and appropriate graft sizing are crucial for successful outcomes.
