Abstract:
Failure of total hip arthroplasty because of osteolysis caused by surface wear of acetabular polyethylene bearings has long been recognized. We report the case of a patient with an unusual presentation of a pelvic mass 20 years after he underwent total arthroplasty of his left hip.
