Hydatid cysts in uncommon locations in the same patient: simultaneous cardiac and spinal involvement

  • Simultaneous spinal and cardiac hydatidosis presents a unique clinical challenge.
  • Cardiac hydatid cysts are associated with a poor prognosis.
  • Urgent surgical excision is crucial for managing cardiac hydatid disease.
