[Prevention of suppurative-infectious complications after radical surgery in rectal cancer]
Abstract:
In 32 patients with rectal cancer, the endolymphatic antibiotic therapy was performed 2-5 days before and for 7-10 days after radical operation. Attenuation of an inflammation around a tumor, decrease in bacterial contamination of the perineal wound, reduction in incidence of postoperative purulent-inflammatory complications were noted.
