An interactive digital education aid significantly improved breast reconstruction patients' knowledge and satisfaction while reducing anxiety. This digital tool offers a superior method for patients to understand reconstructive surgery options.

A need was identified for enhanced patient education in breast reconstruction to improve treatment decision-making.

133 breast cancer patients eligible for reconstruction were randomized into control and study groups.
The study group utilized an interactive digital education aid, while the control group received standard education.
Patient knowledge, anxiety, and satisfaction were measured pre-consultation, pre-surgery, and 1 month post-surgery.
