Peroral cholangioscopy (POCS) and percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopy (PTCS) offer distinct advantages for diagnosing biliary conditions. PTCS provides precise mapping biopsies for cholangiocarcinoma (CCA), while POCS excels in evaluating biliary stenoses in primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) patients.
