Summary

Computer-assisted diagnostics and virtual implant planning enable efficient and safe prosthetic solutions for edentulous maxillas. While flapless surgery and immediate loading are suitable for select patients, guided techniques enhance implant placement accuracy.

  • A combined protocol of computer-guided and conventional surgery shows promise for complex cases.
