Purpose of the Study:

  • To analyze the vascular anatomy of celiac branches relevant to gastric cancer surgery.
  • To evaluate the utility of 3D-CT in mapping these vessels preoperatively.

  • 41 patients with gastric carcinoma underwent 3D-CT scans before surgery.
  • Branching patterns of dissected vessels were analyzed from 3D-CT images.

  • Left gastric and right gastroepiploic arteries were consistently identified.
  • Significant variations were observed in the origin of the right gastric artery (53.7% detection rate).
