Patients with Parkinson's disease and other extrapyramidal syndromes often have impaired baroreflex sensitivity, a key indicator of cardiovascular risk. This study highlights reduced baroreflex sensitivity in multiple system atrophy and progressive supranuclear palsy, impacting cardiovascular prognosis.
