Using brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity to associate arterial stiffness with cardiovascular risks

Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) is a composite risk factor for early atherosclerosis. Elevated baPWV predicts diastolic dysfunction and long-term cardiovascular risk in individuals with low to intermediate risk.
